At Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences College of Medicine, we aim to provide integrated medical education and research, that is nationally responsive and globally connected, serving individuals and communities.
Our Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is a six-year undergraduate program which is accredited by the UAE Ministry of Education. The program is based on an innovative curriculum, that is reactive to today’s needs, whilst also focusing on the outcome to produce physicians that are scholars, leaders, communicators, and collaborators.
Our College of Medicine offers something truly unique to our students through early clinic exposure, research that takes place on the MBRU campus, and affiliations with local and international healthcare institutions. Benchmarked against international standards, our College of Medicine aims to provide our students with rich and diversified learning opportunities, to ensure they are prepared with the knowledge, skills, and experience to serve the community and promote excellence within the healthcare system.

MBRU plans to offer 70 students for the Academic Year 2019-20. Of the 70 planned offers, 50 will be available to all nationalities (UAE and non-UAE) and 20 additional offers will be slotted for qualified UAE nationals. Admission to the MBBS program is competitive. In the past two years, about 1 in 5 applicants were offered a position.
Application to the MBBS program can only be submitted through our online application portal. Application to the program will open on October 15th 2018 and will close on January 15th 2019. Late applications received after January 15th 2019 will not be considered.
