How can I apply to a Master of Science program at HBMCDM?
Application to the postgraduate program can only be submitted through our online application portal. Application to the program will open on October 15th, 2019 and will close on March 1st, 2020.
For your application to be complete, you will need to submit the online application here, upload all supporting documents and pay the non-refundable application fee of of AED. 1,050 – (AED 1000 + 5% VAT).
What happens after I submit my MSc in Dentistry application?
Please note that for your application to be considered, you must complete the online application, upload the required documents, and pay the application fee. An experienced panel of MBRU faculty and staff will then review completed applications and shortlist qualified candidates. Qualified short-listed candidates will be invited for interviews planned for mid-April. Selection will be based on the applicant’s academic and professional credentials as well as performance in the assessment interview. Ranked applicants will be sent conditional offers by early May.
What does the Admissions Committee evaluate for Dental college when making admission decisions?
Undergraduate studies performance, letters of recommendation, previous academic and/or professional experience are the main criteria for evaluation. However, teamwork, communication skills and personality characteristics are also taken into consideration. English proficiency is a mandatory requirement.
How many students are admitted to each postgraduate program of Dentistry?
Maximum six students per program per cohort.
How much is the tuition fees of MSc in Dentistry?
The annual tuition fee is AED 160,000 (for UAE and GCC nationals) and AED 185,000 (for international applicants), payable in two installments (by the beginning of each semester) either by cheque or bank transfer.
I am currently studying in another university. Can I transfer credits to Dental college?
HBMCDM can accept applications from transfer students for the postgraduate programs. Their applications will be treated like all others. If the applicant meets the selection criteria, the Admissions team will review the courses completed at another university and will decide if the applicant is eligible for transfer of credit. The selected applicant will be notified of the decision.
Are stipends available at MSc in Dentistry?
At HBMCDM, postgraduate students are not eligible for stipends.
