Dr. Khamis is currently professor of Biostatistics at MBRU. In academia since 1989 and has published more than 100 articles. He published his first book of Discrete Mathematics (2006). Khamis worked as Professor and senior researcher at the Department of Family and Community medicine at the University of Dammam in KSA between 2009-2014, and Associate Professor of Biostatistics at the Department of Community Medicine at University of Khartoum, Sudan (2003-2009). As a consultant with WHO, he travels extensively on scientific missions and conducts research projects in the most disturbed regions of Africa and Southeast Asia. Research interest are mathematical modeling, public health and epidemiology.
