
Professor Ibrahim Inuwa is a Professor of Anatomy at the College of Medicine, Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU). He obtained his MBBS from Ahmadu Bello University in Nigeria, and his Master of Medical Sciences and PhD degrees from University of Sheffield, UK. He also obtained a Master in Medical Education from the University of Dundee, UK. He has over 28 years of academic experience. Formerly, a Professor of Anatomy and the Director of Quality development at Bayero University in Nigeria, Professor Inuwa had been a 2-term Chair of the Department of Human and Clinical Anatomy at Sultan Qaboos University in the Sultanate of Oman. He was pivotal in the establishment of a clinical skills and simulation center at the Sultan Qaboos University in the Sultanate of Oman. He is currently engaged in the development of the undergradute medical curriculum and faculty development initiatives in MBRU.
