Dr. Jeyaseelan Lakshmanan is Professor of Biostatistics at the Basic Science Department of Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences, where he is involved in teaching and research in the field of Biostatistics. He holds Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from the Christian Medical College, Vellore, India. He had his Diploma degree in Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Newcastle University, Australia. He is a member of Royal Statistical Society (FRSS). He was the President of Indian Society for Medical Statistics, (ISMS), India. His interest has been in Multivariable Biostatistical methods, Clinical Epidemiology (Diagnostic Test) and Machine Learning Algorithms in AI. He has been running statistical methods workshops in Christian Medical College, Vellore, India regularly. He has published over 300 papers in National and International journals.
