Dr. Lucy Waugh is an Assistant Professor in the department of paediatrics at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU), where she leads the year four undergraduate paediatric program. Dr. Waugh Completed her undergraduate and post graduate training in the UK holding qualifications from both the University of Manchester and the University of Oxford. Her paediatric career spans several large Children’s University hospitals where she developed an interest in paediatric infectious diseases. She has been involved in clinical research trials at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and the University of Liverpool. Dr. Waugh is a practicing paediatrician and a fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. She is committed to advancing paediatric care through shaping and delivering a comprehensive, evidence–based undergraduate program, and collaborative research activities in the field of paediatrics and education.
