Dr. Manal Al Halabi obtained her degrees from Jordan and the USA. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She has made significant contributions to the field of pediatric dentistry both in Maryland, USA and in the UAE. Her research interests include Medical Education especially applied to postgraduate dental training, biological methods of caries prevention and treatment, the dental needs of medically compromised and special needs children, child maltreatment from the dental perspective and the assessment and improvement of knowledge about oral health issues related to pediatric dentistry in dental and medical healthcare providers as well as the caregivers.
