Dr. Rasha Buhumaid was appointed as the Dean of the College of Medicine and Graduate Medical Education in 2025. She is a Consultant Emergency Physician with a special interest in Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS). Dr. Buhumaid serves as the President-elect of the Asian Society for Emergency Medicine and immediate past president of the Emirates Society of Emergency Medicine and is a member of the National Institute for Health Sciences Emergency Medicine Scientific Committee. She is deeply committed to medical education and has been actively involved in teaching residents, interns, and medical students, contributing significantly to the advancement of emergency medicine in the region.
