
Dr. Reem Jan is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology at the College of Medicine. Dr. Jan graduated with a Bachelor of Pharmacy (First Class Honors) from the University of Auckland, New Zealand in 2007. She obtained a Ph.D in Pharmacy in the subfield of Neuropharmacology from the University of Auckland in 2013. She was then awarded a Marie-Curie Post-doctoral Fellowship at the University of Geneva, Switzerland where she worked as a post-doctoral research fellow from 2014-2017. Dr. Jan’s research interests are in psychiatric disorders, including drug addiction, autism spectrum disorder, and anxiety disorders, and their effects on the human brain, as well as their pharmacological targets. Dr. Jan is fluent in English and Arabic.
