His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chancellor of Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU), was appointed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, by decree no. 22 for 2016.
His Highness focuses His Leadership on developing a world-class foundation in healthcare. By providing an innovative academic environment for our students to become healthcare professionals of tomorrow. His Highness leads MBRU in uplifting the standards of healthcare education and research in the UAE and the region to reverse the trend of seeking medical education overseas.
The UAE’s health sector advancement is closely tied to increasing access to quality medical education. Part of the country’s wider development strategy is to work towards a sustainable and innovative healthcare system with qualified workforce.
