Named after His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, MBRU is a medical university located in the Emirate of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. The University offers 23 accredited undergraduate and postgraduate degrees through its three colleges: Hamdan Bin Mohammed College of Dental Medicine, the College of Medicine, and Hind Bint Maktoum College of Nursing and Midwifery. The University offers 41 medical education programs, including residency, fellowship, and internship under its Deanship of Graduate Medical Education.

Established in 2016, MBRU has produced over 2,000 peer-reviewed publications, nearly 500 graduates, and a diverse student body of more than 50 nationalities. All programs offered by MBRU are accredited by the UAE’s Ministry of Education. MBRU’s international academic partner is Queen’s University Belfast (QUB), one of the UK’s leading research-intensive universities. About the Role 

The College of Medicine at MBRU is soliciting applications for positions at all academic ranks in Anatomy, Biostatistics, Family Medicine, and Emergency Medicine. At the assistant and associate professor ranks in Internal Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology, to join the faculty delivering the MD and research programs.

Faculty members will work in an academic and healthcare environment located in the heart of Dubai, a major travel hub with direct flights to most major cities.

Qalifications: 

Successful candidates must hold Certificate of Completion of Training (CTT) [UK] or Board Certification [e.g. US, Canada, Australia]; or PhD from a recognized institution in a relevant subject; or equivalent.

It is also desirable for successful candidates to have:

• Academic experience either as a medical educator and /or a researcher at a recognized university (at least five years for Associate Professor position and at least 10 years for Full Professor position)
• Significant experience in undergraduate medical education includes the design, delivery and organization of good quality teaching and assessments.
• Proven independent research experience and track record in medical education.
