The Dental Internship Program is a full-time one-year program targeting newly dental graduates. The program consists of weekly didactic sessions and daily clinic exposure. Interns are integrated into a clinical environment early in their training and will have a hands-on approach to patient care. The program offers dental trainees the opportunity to develop their skills and acquire new ones while also introducing them to every aspect of dental practice. Through a carefully thought-out training curriculum, the program will balance the trainees’ individual strengths and weaknesses. In addition, develop a peer and self-review system, put it into place, and raise awareness of the value of ongoing professional development.

Interns are expected to take a detailed history, perform a thorough examination, and discuss their proposed management plan with the supervising clinician. Clinical exposure consists of structured rotations in various dental specialties at a variety of dental polyclinics and hospitals in Dubai. The aim of the program is to efficiently train dental interns to become a competent dental practitioners, allowing them to practice with confidence and deliver comprehensive patient-centered care, including emergency management and advanced dental treatment.
